Products That Have Us #WHIPPED

#WHIPPED
Kiehls2

Acne is never fun, and we’re sick of going back and forth in the CVS aisles for products that help oily skin in the summer and prevent dry skin any other time. It’s getting pretty exhausting. Recently, we, along with a couple close friends, have started using Kiehl’s beauty products and the results definitely have us whipped!

No one has the exact same skin type, and Kiehl’s knows that. For first timers, the beauty store offers a complimentary consultation to grasp a better understanding of your skin type and daily routine. The consultation begins with a series of short tests to measure the hydration levels in your skin and how oily it is throughout the year. After taking samples from your forehead and cheeks by swiping them with a mini cloth, the Kiehl’s experts ask a few follow up questions about your skincare routine: do you wash your face; do you use a moisturizer? And in no more than 2 minutes, you are given a list of products that best suite your skin type. Careful though: Kiehl’s doesn’t sell you’re typical $5 products, but sometimes it costs to have healthy skin. Here are 3 top-rated products among our staff and friends.

Calendula Deep Cleansing Foaming Face Wash

The Calendula Deep Cleansing Face Wash is a face wash gel that can be incorporated into your daily and nightly beauty routine. What’s great is that it can be used by a lot of different skin types. For those who have low hydration levels, this will help maintain and increase some of the natural moisture and hydration that you’ve been losing. And for those who experience quite a bit of break outs – especially in the summer- this will gently wash away any of those impurities, clearing clogged pores of dirt and unwanted oils. Not to mention, you’ll feel like you just left a spa after using it because of its sweet, flowery aroma.

Ingredients: Sodium cocoyl glycinate, coco-betaine (to clean); glycerin (to moisturize); calendula-flower extract (to soothe)
How to Use: apply small amount to fingertips and massage into damp facial areas. Rinse with warm water.
Price: $29

Midnight Recovery Concentrate (Moisturizer)

Midnight Recovery Concentrate

The Midnight Recovery Concentrate is your nightly moisturizer. There seems to be a common misconception that it’s okay to use the same moisturizer in the daytime and at night. But your skin is actually more receptive to repairing at night. So this concentrate works to replenish your skin for a healthier and smoother feel and look. All you need is 2-3 drops and you’ll notice a glow you didn’t have before, as well as a sweet smell of lavender.

Ingredients: Primrose oil (to repair), lavender oil (to soothe), and Kiehl’s ingredient Squalane (to restore)
How to Use: add 2-3 drops to your fingertips and lightly tap into forehead, chin, and cheek areas.
Price: $46

Midnight Recovery Eye Serum

And finally, the Midnight Recovery Eye Serum is also one to add to your nightly routine. We know you all have been hustling, but who wants those dark eye circles to show for all that hard work? This serum helps replenish and repair those dark spots and puffiness that accumulate under your eyes. This product can be used as needed.

Ingredients: Primrose oil (to repair), lavender oil (to soothe), and Kiehl’s ingredient Squalane (to restore)
How to Use: addd 2-3 drops to your fingertips and lightly tap into forehead, chin, and cheek areas.
Price: $36
